The main differences between the different trail boots are: - An increase in temperature resistance from 20°C to 30º C during wintertime; an increased water retention by up 100% compared with traditional shoe gaskets made of material that is already very soft (like rubber); a larger sole size which makes it easier/more comfortable on cold surfaces such as rocks, snow or ice. The boot itself can be adjusted even further using screw-on straps / hooks so you could also use them hiking alone while others don't want their children playing outdoors at night.
